BEST SIDE HUSTLE
I Believe In Providing Value More Than Anyone Else. This Is My Life’s Work.
I’ve realized that anything new in life — whether it’s a new job, or a new place — things take a lot of getting used to. In retrospect, challenge provides a chance at a different life. I’ve also realized that if this was easy, then everybody else would be doing it. This opportunity is for you if you want to bring value to others, if you’re driven, have a positive attitude, and you desire to create a bright future of financial independence, as well as the prospect of retiring young.
We live in such a fast-paced society, that it’s often wise to pause and think about your choices, hopes, and desired outcome(s). Where are you at in your life currently, and where do you want to go? Wherever you find yourself, it’s time to take control of your life, and to live with intention and purpose. The world doesn’t reward mediocrity. The time is now to decide and work to be the best at what you do. In turn, you will live a life with meaning, purpose and fulfillment. You can make it!
The Good, The Bad And The Ugly Of Being An Insurance Agent
THE GOOD
Lets look at what career or profession makes over $100,000 a year? The most common ones include: doctors, lawyers, software managers, architects, pharmacy managers, just to name some. Most of these jobs require a lot of schooling, which typically leads to expensive loans, and it can take a minimum of 4 years in college (if not more, depending on the chosen major).
Three reasons why I chose to become a health insurance agent.
- Passive Income – renewals. I get paid every year for each policy I’ve sold, if my clients keep their policy. I continually get paid every year after the work is done.
- Good Purpose – It’s a career that will allow me to provide great service to anyone I assist with their health insurance needs.
- Low Start Up Cost – Low licensing fees and only 40 hour’s worth of insurance course, either in person or online.
THE BAD
Your level of success is dependent on your effort, as well as a combination of personal initiative, hard work, positive attitude and a large enough ambition to reach your full potential. You will have an equal opportunity to establish a professional business and realize unlimited income.
I can honestly say that anyone can do what I’ve accomplished, but it begins with why. Dig deep and discover your own “why”, think of why you want to achieve financial freedom, as well as why you want to reach the top (financially, career-wise, or both). My biggest why’s were: I wanted to provide value to others, achieve financial independence, and retire early. To get to a point, when I can live life on own terms. Learning anything new takes a lot of learning curve, persistence and sacrifice. I think being an insurance agent is one of the most overlooked opportunities out there. As such, it’s my goal to share this insight with as many people as I can. If this opportunity is not for you, but you know anyone that fits the mold I’ve described, feel free to share this to them
THE UGLY
This opportunity is not for everybody. Personally, I love the fact that it’s hard and challenging. Most people fail in insurance or see it as too daunting of a career. Some of the main reasons for this as I’ve seen over the years are due to lack of effort, doubt, fear, discomfort, inability to adapt to change, or they are not passionate enough.
Do you know any other opportunity or business that you can start for under $500, no college degree, experience, nor special talent or skill needed, and have the potential of making $100K renewals a year in less than 5 years? Even if it takes you 5 years to make $100K in passive income or renewals, it’s still better than any other jobs out there. If you think about it, most of us work our whole life to even have the chance of making $100K per year. At $100K per year, you’re at the top 24% of the population, and at $128K per year, you’re at the top 10%.
Being an insurance agent seemed very hard in the beginning, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Ultimately, through my experiences, I’ve learned that anything new in life, especially when it comes to change, takes time to adjust to. In retrospect, I’m glad that it’s challenging – I’ve realized what I truly want out of life, simply by taking a risk. The opportunity to make a great life and create a bright future of financial independence and to retire young is at your fingertips; all you must be willing to do is try.
What are you living for right now? Life is too short to live a mediocre life, it’s time to LIVE IT UP! No matter what it is that you’re doing, or what you’ve been wanting to do, it’s time to take control of your life and live with passion! The world doesn’t reward mediocrity. Decide and work to be the best at what you do. In turn, you will live a life with meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.
